  • 1. Place the Poetic Waxing cup in a microwave and heat for 90-seconds. Stir, and follow with 30-second heating intervals, stirring between each, until the wax is the consistency of thick honey.

    2. Before you begin, use the spatula to test the wax temperature on the inside of your wrist.

    3. Cleanse the area to be waxed and blot dry.

    4. Dip spatula in the wax and twirl to avoid dripping.

    5. Apply the wax against the direction of the hair growth for short hair (bikini, lip, chin, cheeks and eyebrows), or with the direction of growth for longer hair (legs, arms and underarms).

    6. When the wax has dried enough so that it is not tacky to the touch, it is time to remove it. Press down on the entire patch to ensure uniform removal, then hold the skin tight, grab an end, and quickly pull the wax against the direction of hair growth.

    7. Once you have finished, cleanse the area to help prevent ingrown hairs.

    Best home wax!

Oh my goodness! I was so surprised with this wax. It goes on so smootly and is so easy to remove. I've never tried a home wax so painless before. Seriously. I don't know that I'll ever need to go back to a waxing studio ever again, this is so easy to use myself. I also loved the waxing oil that was included. That was a nice surprise and it smelled so good. Admittedly, I was dubious to try this wax thinking that it was all hyped up with marketing, but it really does the job well. I wish this was sold in bulk, and I really wish I could get this to fit in a warmer.

I use this in between appointments at a Bliss Spa. I was never a home waxer so it took me a while to get the right consistency. I didn't learn how to maximize the product and minimize the waste until the second container. Now, I love this product and try to keep one in reserve (sometimes it is sold out here and at other sellers). In my microwave it takes about 90-120 seconds before I can stir it. After I get the right temperature and consistency, I've learned that gently spinning the spatulas until I have the needed and right amount of products helps with the mess and making sure that I do have the right consistency. The oil and cleanser included are ample for the amount of wax. I do wish Bliss would either include more of the large spatulas or sell them in a 10 or 25 piece pack.

I have finally found the perfect waxing kit and it is out of stock. I hope this is not a sign if the item being discontinued, I do not know what I will do if that happens!!

Easy to use waxing kit. The wax takes longer to heat up than what the instructions state. This kit is more effective than waxing kits that require the use of strips. It is much cheaper than waxing services performed in a spa but is still expensive for a waxing kit, for which I deducted one star.

Best home waxing kit! Really easy to use and gets rid of unwanted of hair. It works best when wax is a medium consistency (not too hot and liquidity, but not about to turn back to solid).

I absolutely love the poetic wax. This wax performs just as the wax in the salon, however getting it the right temperature and consistency can be hard the first few times. Comes off easily with the oil, if you happen to get it anywhere it isn't supposed to be. Smells great, and the pre and post treatments are wonderful!

life changing. will never use another wax at another spa. i do my lip at home, and i have no breakouts, no reaction, no red pimples for days on end. really the best wax i have ever used. should be 10 stars, not 5.

I love going to a salon to get a bikini wax but it can get pretty expensive. It took a bit to get used to doing it myself but I absolutely love the results for the price!

Best at home waxing kit I have tried. Not too painful. And easy application/clean up. Make sure to put a thick enough layer on though other wise wax will crack. Do not leave to dry too long otherwise wax wil crack.
