The Bliss is in the journey.
Ahh…1996. What a time to be alive!
It was the year we were introduced to The Spice Girls, Oprah’s Book Club and the word “Google” (though it hadn’t yet become a verb.) And dare we say, most importantly - it was the year Bliss Spa opened its doors in New York City’s SoHo.
Bliss Spa SoHo - the spa that started it all.
From the beginning, it was obvious Bliss was different. It stood out amongst the rest as a reimagined spa experience with a side of quirk and personality. It was a spa that served brownies and brie instead of berries and delivered facial and body treatments that were destined to become legendary.
Oprah, JLo and Madonna were regular clients. Julia Roberts once told People magazine she had a hard time getting an appointment. It was the IT place, and became its own cultural moment.
Bliss Spa was featured on Sex And The City as a place that promised transformation.
On Oprah’s farewell show, she recalled her Bliss facial as “THE BEST FACIAL I EVER HAD.”

Flash forward to 2022, we are now a B Corp Certified skincare brand and our goal is to bring that indulgent spa experience to everyone with clean, cruelty-free skincare and body care that is dermatologist tested and available at accessible prices.
