Turns out the old adage is true: you are what you eat. (In fact, we like to think of them as 'grin'-gredients.) Here's a 'taste' of what you'll find in our meals:

folate:
This vitamin keeps your neurotransmitter factories humming, and has been used for decades to treat clinical depression. The cerebrospinal fluid that bathes your brain has four times more folate than your blood.

lentils:
Feeling down is often a symptom of chronic iron deficiency, as is general weakness, listlessness and exhaustion. A 200g serving of lentils will supply you with half your RDA of iron.

butternut squash:

More than just a garnish, this herb is an excellent source of amino acid L-glutamine

hummus:
High in protein and fiber, hummus provides a slow, sustained release of glucose into your blood stream.

carrots:
This veggie is rich in the vitamin biotin, a deficiency of which was found to induce depression and fatigue in an International Journal for Vitamin and Nutrition Research study.
