bliss pore-fector gadget SKU :BLISS-368dual-action device uses sonic waves to purify pores and massage on products

‘Go-go’ complexion perfection! This multi-tasking tool has two fabulous functions, both powered by sonic vibrations. First, it teams up with bliss daily detoxifying facial toner to fight ‘grime’, using higher-level vibrations (27,000 per second, to be exact) to power-wash pores and eliminate impurities like dirt, oil and debris. (The proof is in the toner, which goes on clear and looks cloudy after use.) Next, it uses lower-level vibrations to massage treatments and moisturizers onto the skin’s surface (much more effective than using your fingers). ‘Skin’-dorsed by Bliss Spa facialists and used professionally, it’s the next best thing to an at-home esthetician (but you’ll still need to see an in-spa specialist for pro-quality extractions). Wowsers! Kit includes ‘pore’-fector gadget tool, daily detoxifying facial toner (6.7 oz), two samples of steep clean 15-minute facial mask, recharge base unit and power adapter.

Instructions for use:
1. Splash water onto clean skin
2. Press the red ON button and HOLD until device turns on. A red light will appear signifying high vibrations (this is ideal for cleansing). Note: if your skin is sensitive, press the intermittent button on the right. This adds a pulsating vibration, which lessens the intensity of the wave.)
3.Point the head of the tool towards your skin. Begin gently applying pressure in an upwards scooping motion to help cleanse and exfoliate the skin.
4. Use an alcohol or sanitizer-saturated cotton pad to wipe the tool clean, (DO NOT RINSE UNDER WATER THIS WILL DAMAGE THE TOOL.)
5. Apply your moisturizer or serum.
6. Flip the head of the tool over it lays flush against your skin. Press the ON button again and a green light will appear indicating a slower vibration.
7. Instead of massaging your moisturizer or serum onto your skin with your fingers, gently apply the head of the tool onto the surface of the skin and glide it along the skin's surface in a downward motion.

Let's be real here, guys. This is simply a really fancy extractor tool. It definitely takes a minute to get the hang of it (I watched demo videos and now my technique is much better and I'm seeing better results), but I don't see how normal or dry skins would benefit much from this. It really is ideal for oily, combination, or large-pored skins. (Like mine). My $4 manual extractor tool still does better - as in, I use the Porefector and then will use my manual tool right afterward and still have plenty of congestion coming out of my pores, especially my nose. It's a bit gimmicky. But I do like it and will use it regularly and I'm sure will see a difference in my skin. You do need to reapply toner (or water) often during use to make sure you have enough slide. It's a decent maintenance tool to have between facials, but definitely, definitely does not replace regular extractions from an esthetician. I do think it's way overpriced for what it is, I never would have purchased it had I not gotten it on a special. If you already take extra great care of your skin through regular exfoliation, facials, extractions, etc - you may be disappointed because this tool seems entirely too basic to accomplish anything major at home. The "sonic vibrating" is the gimmicky part. Whether it's real sonic vibrations or not, I really don't see how it's "shaking" out the dirt in your pores. The dirt is really coming out through the scraping motion and the pressure you're applying with the metal blade. Sounds scary and painful but it's really no biggie. Just be careful not to apply too much pressure or you may damage/scar your skin. But not applying enough pressure doesn't get you results, either. Do your research and watch videos before you invest in such a big purchase. If you're frugal, you're probably better off when a cheap (but always effective) manual metal extractor.

I love, love, love this tool. It is really worth the investment, because it is two tools in one. First, with the red light in one direction, it cleans all your pores and keeps the black heads away between facials. Then, after you put on your serum and moisturizer, you turn it around and it use the green light to get all your product to soak deep into your skin. I do not eave home without it when traveling. I was instructed introduced to it during my facial and had to buy it. Must have tool for those stubborn blackheads with the added benefit of aiding your treatments to soak in. I highly recommend this tool not investment.

Love it! I have never it had used on me personally at a Bliss Spa, but I did see it in the treatment room. I love knowing that I can continue my routine at home between facials using some of the same tools and products that they do on my skin!
