While dining with a friend who worked behind the 'seams' in Hollywood, founder Marni Bumsted noticed her blouse gaping. She asked for a safety pin, but her pal pulled out some double-sided tape instead, saying it was a celeb secret. Bumsted was hooked (or, um, 'taped'), and Hollywood Fashion Tape was born. The brand takes Tinseltown's tricks for dodging red carpet snafus like slipping straps and wayward necklines, and 'exposes' them to the public. (And when they're all that stands between a star and the fashion police page of a tabloid, you know these tactics are trustworthy.)
