Gorjana found her calling as a girl in Yugoslavia creating preschool-chic designs out of yarn and buttons. She continued whipping up DIY couture as a preteen in Canada, then began modeling at 15 in the US and fell in love with the fashion industry. In 2004, she and her husband decided to give her jewelry line a go, and hit the road armed with nothing but her creativity, his business mind, a bag of her baubles and their 4-lb. Yorkie. Today, she helms an international, celeb-sported brand--and works with slightly more sophisticated materials than yarn and buttons.
