Microdermabrasion removes the layers of dead skin cells so that the underlying skin is much more receptive and can absorb our fabulous products a lot deeper, which gives better results. I try to have it done at least once a monthmy skin feels really good and looks a lot brighter afterwards.

question

It's my first time getting a facial at Bliss. Anything I should know?

ANSWER
We recommend consulting with your esthetician before you begin your treatment to discuss your options, new offerings, and what might best benefit you. Please let her know if you prefer more massage, if you want your pores thoroughly purged, or if you really crave a combination. It's easier for us to meet your needs if you tell us what you want from the 'get-go'. Your esthetician will also make you aware of any extra charges associated with additional services that you might request. Our Service Menu is always available for your price checks. Your facial is the first, but not the only step toward seamless skincare. At Bliss, we're big on 'follow up', so please feel free to peruse the personalized product pack that awaits you at checkout. These lotions and potions are chosen specifically by your esthetician (after she stares at your t-zone through a 5 diopter magnifying lens under a harsh light for an hour) to keep your skin behaving. Our front desk staff can answer any questions you might have on the what, when, where, and why of your recommended regimen. Your skin needs between-facial protection. It's all part of the Bliss, the whole Bliss, and nothing but the Bliss. While each of our facial treatments is accompanied by a Bliss Lemon+Sage Body Butter slathering of the neck, arms, and shoulders, in no way will the relaxation achieved rival the results of a The ginger rub? (but we'd love to help you book an appointment for one). Facials concentrate on the face, massage on the muscles. We've tried to do both treatments simultaneously, but our clients' masks kept falling off and ruining our shoes. Concerned about post-facial breakouts? It's not necessary here. Any Bliss facial that includes extracting uses a pre-treatment oxygen cream to drastically reduce the possibility of breakouts. For extra protection, a %%%30/soho/189/%%% ($30 extra) can be added on to the end.
