To keep my skin breakout-free, I always add a bit of laboratoire remède double oxygenating booster to any of the moisturizers I use. It stimulates the cell metabolism and, most importantly, controls anaerobic bacteria—the root cause of many breakouts.

question

Dear Miss Bliss I enjoy perusing through your witty catalog, but find myself at a loss with the different arrays of product for my skin type: oily with a tendency for breakouts. I have used many many different products (you name it, I've tried it), but am wondering what you might suggest to help me clear up. I've been thinking of trying Laboratoire Remède Double Oxygenating Booster. What do you think? Rescue me!

ANSWER
Dear Rescue-ee, First, let me offer my whole-hearted apologies for not getting back to you faster. As one who suffered from breakouts every moment of my existence between my eleventh and twentieth birthdays, I know how difficult a day can be when you're battling breakouts. (As a matter of fact, I can barely forgive myself for having misplaced your query in a pile of paperwork, and just having dug it out now while reconfiguring my computer station.) Let's get down to the facts. First, I want you to understand what is causing your breakouts. In a nutshell, acne (the technical term for 'zits', whether they show up solo or in a succession pattern) is caused by a fourfold of phenomena. Contributing to the clogging is hyperkeratinization (so you need to exfoliate often), overproduction of sebum (so you should make sure you don't try to dry out the surface of your skin), proliferation of bacteria (so as you suspected, you NEED Laboratoire Remède Double Oxygenating Booster daily), and hormones (a monthly type of uncontrollable hell, just get used to it). For oily and problem prone skin types between the ages of 20 and 45, I'd recommend the following regime: In the morning: Scrub in the shower with Laboratoire Remède Sweep, or Bliss Pore-Perfecting Facial Polish, at least 4 times a week. Tone with Bliss Steep Clean Toner Pads, then apply Laboratoire Remède Complete Treatment Anti-Aging/Oil Control over a thin film of Laboratoire Remède Double Oxygenating Booster. If you plan to spend the day outside, give your sensitized skin added protection with Laboratoire Remède Translucent UV Coat SPF 30, then apply concealer, eyeshadow, and lipcolor as usual. In the evening: Massage your face with Bliss Steep Clean Cleansing Milk, then gently rub it off with a warm washcloth. Alternate (evening to evening) applications of Laboratoire Remède Double Oxygenating Booster or Bliss Sleeping Peel Serum over your face and neck. Apply a little Laboratoire Remède Complete Treatment Anti-Aging/Oil Control on top if you feel the need, and Bliss All Around Eye Cream for the delicate periorbital area, so at least once you get rid of your breakouts, you won't be worrying about bags and undereye wrinkles. Once a week, use Bliss Sleeping Peel Exfoliating Mask or our enzymatic miracle mask: Bliss Steep Clean. You should be 'in the clear' in no time.
