If I could receive any Bliss service myself, it would be the steep clean facial. I love the stimulation and deep cleansing—and the glow I get from it is unbelievable. |

questionI'm only 28 and experiencing spider veins on my face. Can I do anything that doesn't involve a laser?
ANSWERYou absolutely can do a lot of things that don't involve a laser. At Bliss, we just got this nifty little zapper named 'The Telangitron'. It has a tiny little electrolysis-like needle, that a sure-handed Luke of an esthetician can slip through the skin, to cauterize the blood that's leaking through the area and causing the redness (and appearance of a broken blood vessel). We use it on the ones from the neck up. It only takes a minute, has a 60% success rate (which means that if you do it twice, it's more than 100% gone!) and doesn't even pinch. (Besides, there is no after treatment scarring, bruising, redness, swelling, etc.) You can also use concealers (green-tinted ones help reduce the appearance of redness), or stage-made cosmetics until you have a chance to come in for a treatment. (By the way, I think there must be a few dermatologists around who can perform the same service, I just don't know any names offhand!) Good luck and good riddance to bad redness! |
